Jared M. Conder is an avid supporter of the Percussive Arts and works as an active clinician, adjudicator, and private instructor. He is the owner and operator of jmcdrums.com, an online percussion studio.

Jared’s past work experience includes, Director of Percussion at Lone Peak High School and Timberline Middle School. Additionally, he has worked with multiple scholastic and independent drumlines throughout the Utah Valley. His groups have acquired numerous state titles and percussion trophies for both marching band and indoor, as well as superior ratings for concert percussion.

Most notably, he was the Director of South County (SoCo) Percussion and the Battery Caption Head and Sound Engineer for Impact Percussion. Impact Percussion was the first group from Utah to qualify as an Independent A finalist at WGI World Championships, placing 6th overall.

As a performer, he was featured at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ Worldwide broadcast celebrating 100 years in scouting. Jared has also performed in concert with artists such as Jenny Oaks Baker and in large arenas with the Brigham Young University Drumline, including a halftime performance for the Utah Jazz.

As a judge, he worked for Red Bull’s Tum Tum Pa Competition, a freestyle drumming competition using only classroom objects. His students have gone on to receive scholarships from many of the local Universities and contracts marching in several Drum Corps.

Jared resides in Lindon, Utah, with his wife Noelle, and two little boys Kaden, and Colin.
